Did you all just invest in a program that spontaneously generates the same cartoon over and over again? What a time saver.

Tom Moore? The Tom Moore? The Tom Moore who read about credit default swipes in his morning paper and that fternoon fancied himself superior to the guy in the cubicle next to him because that dolt had not yet read the paper? Wow. I’m humbled.

Well, the Tom Moore, while others have commented on the subject I think most have said the recent numbers refute global warming. I don’t say that here. I make fun of the people who switched the name of ‘global warming’ to ‘climate change’ to claim any weather oddity as evidence to their argument. And I’m poking fun at the kind of people who think if you ride a bike, or buy a prius, or pull the lever for candidate A, the oceans will begin to recede.

    credit default *swaps, nitwit.

the joke here (and in all other appearances in this strip) is about as funny as my granddad’s alzheimer’s. look at anchorage, alaska: 52 degrees fahrenheit yesterday. look at atlanta, georgia: 18 degrees fahrenheit yesterday. GLOBAL climate change is real and is aggregate, and is slow. your LOCAL weather is related but not directly reflective of it.

read a real book for once, dolt.

I guess if we are going to debate about it, but I like laughing at the cartoons better:

It is generally accepted that the Earth’s crust “floats” on a turbulent molten lava ocean. It is turbulent because the earth core is spinning faster than the earth crust. The faster spinning center is pulling the winds and tides around by its massive gravitational pull. Just beneath our feet lies the source for every future volcano, earth quake, tsunami, and polar shift.

Science has discovered a relationship between lunar phases (full moons) and the occurrence of earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. This evidence suggests that earth quakes, volcanos, tsunamis, and earth shifts are more likely to occur around the time of extremely high tides. This probably means that there is a “tide” in the lava ocean under the crust that probably causes these events.

According to some geologists and scientists, we are in the middle of a deadly 11,500 year cycle when the ice age comes back. The start of the cycle is marked with a Polar reversal, super volcanic activities, massive earthquakes, Tsunamis and nasty hurricanes. 11,500 years back, the last ice age happened and what we have started experiencing – all happened.

    That is a classic!

Obviously, these AGW/CC nitwits haven’t thought about the effects of cold weather on things like agriculture or even the economy at large. They seem to have no clue as to what happens when the streets get covered with snow or ice.
