The ink wasn’t dry on the SCOTUS decision (Heller v. DC) before DC came up with a slightly different law that skirted the decision and was just as restrictive. As I understand it, Heller has launched another lawsuit that is worming it’s way back to the High Court.
Sometimes, I really start to wonder what it will take for the leftists in this nation to realize that we, the people, will not stand for the stealing of our rights.
In a way, it’s our own fault. We have, term after term, sent weak-kneed men and women to represent us and now we are reaping our harvest. Too much compromise on ideas that were once sacred. Too many times have we been lied to by these politicians and yet we elect the same talking heads again and again and again.
In 2010, I will make a point of letting all the canidates in my area know one thing: You have one job: restore the constitution of the USA. You compromise or violate the constitution of this nation and you are fired.
