Actually, I’m leaning towards Bobo on this one. I read the Rolling Stone article and the things he and his staff said went too far (even though Mark Levin claimed otherwise on his show last night).
Bobo was right to demand an apology, and since McChrystal had no intention to apologise, Bobo was right to fire him. A general (4 stars for crying out loud!) ought to know that he should keep himself above such petty nonsense. Not to say I dont respect the man, but he got what he deserved.
If he wanted to talk shit about the people giving him his orders (stupid and moronic though they may very well be) he should have retired first.
Biff, I do think McChrystal acted foolishly. They both did. Obama had a right to fire him, but a better president, someone with thicker skin, someone not so insecure would have ignored the incident.
He forced his hand on POLICY. This is more than an issue of not having thicker skin. The position Hillary holds within his administration is proof of that. No, the general acted foolishly in a way that went against respecting the chain of command.
Chain of command, you don’t talk out of turn against those above you. Just as a PFC must listen to those above him. It’s the same all the way up the chain. It’s because of the uniform they wear, they may not like the individual but that cannot be an excuse to be insubordinate.
….I also think it’s kinda funny, I can disagree in principle with the cartoons premise but still think it’s funny none the less…that’s what open minded people are capable of doing….unlike some people….
I don’t understand why some people take it personal. Mr. Anonymous saying that Eric f…d up is just as childish as the behavior being shown on the cartoon.
By the Way, great and genius funny cartoons. Thanks Eric!
Really? You must be new here. I’ve wallowed at the bottom long before I wrote those two foul words, “poopie head”. If you would like to avoid this type of humor do not go here, here, here, here, or here (are Harry’s hands where I think they are?) I hope not.. Avoid this one, probably the finest example of poop humor ever. Avoid this one, and this one. Here’s another example of actual potty humor you might want to avoid. Eeeew. Shocking tush! Huh, huh, boner medicine. Huh, huh, hot water on his crotch. Avoid this one. Avoid this one (more potty humor). And avoid this one…potty mouth humor. Avoid this pile of poop. And here’s another one with a potty mouth that you might want to avoid. And, trust me, avoid this one. This one will hurt both your sensibilities and your rear. Phallic symbols, RUN!
Chain of command aside, Mr. Allie is making fun of Obama’s inability to take criticism. McChrystal, it sounds like, said some harsh criticisms of the president. He got fired. Oh well, that is as it should be.
However, when little old ladies and the like were criticising Mr. Obama, he referred to them as domestic terrorists since he couldn’t fire them.
Anybody who has a different opinion than Obama, gets labeled as a terrorist, or a traitor, or some other unflattering term, perhaps similar to “idiot”. Kind of like Mr. Anon here. Those of us who disagree with him, he automatically assumes an attitude of superiority, which is in itself amusing but that is beside the point.
Whatever happened to freedom of speech, the ability to speak one’s mind without fear of reprisal, and even just common decency?
I’m not saying that McCrystal shouldn’t have been fired for speaking out of turn about his boss, while working for him, but I am saying that BObo has evidenced an extremely thin skin when it comes to anybody who doesn’t think exactly like him.
“Chain of command aside, Mr. Allie is making fun of Obama’s inability to take criticism. ”
No, that is PART of chain of command. You’d don’t talk bad about your superiors. If they did this under Bush I’d entirely agree with getting rid of him too.
Hence why I prefaced my comments with the words, “Chain of command aside”. In case you didn’t notice, I think Obama actually did something right for once by firing the guy.
Well, if Black Panthers have been officially sanctioned as the electoral police by the Administration, than BObo might very well have a second term. Of course, Arizona will probably secede from the Union at that point, and since Texas has always wanted to, will probably begin secesion proceedings as well. Of course BObo will have to react to that, and its anybody’s guess as to whether or not he simply files another lawsuit, or simply rolls over and lets the country fall apart.
If you would like anything of mine on a shirt click on the SHIRTS link below. It will take you to Image Directly's site and they will be able to produce whatever you want. I should have my store up and working sometime this decade.
They use a state-of-the-art direct to garment ink jet printer that produces bright colors and sharp lines. It washes extremely well and will not crack. It's good stuff.
Thanks.

Eric,

Your mistake is thinking Eric is anything but a hack.

Wow, I agree with Steve. You really fucked up Eric.
….I also think it’s kinda funny, I can disagree in principle with the cartoons premise but still think it’s funny none the less…that’s what open minded people are capable of doing….unlike some people….
I agree, the cartoon is still funny…

Oh, and poop humor. WELCOME TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL, ERIC.

Heh. Some I hadn’t seen before.

As far as his thin skin goes, Bobo is no different from the majority of politicians
This country really needs a man like Ron Paul
“Chain of command aside, Mr. Allie is making fun of Obama’s inability to take criticism. ”

@Admin
No, not new. Just on my laptop. Had the name on auto-fill.
But yeah, Poop jokes are you saying to the world, “Hey world, I can’t write a decent joke to save my life. So here’s something about Poop.”
Thus you are a hack. Enjoy your hackdom.
Hence why I prefaced my comments with the words, “Chain of command aside”. In case you didn’t notice, I think Obama actually did something right for once by firing the guy.
I thought the Poopie Head part was funny
Some people just need to lighten up.
Poop is funny but, that’s why it’s lazy humor. Anyone can do it.
Anonotard, even when people are on your side you try to find something to disagree with them on….give it up.
Alright, so we’re in agreement. Eric is a hack and his comics continue to get worse.
…and you keep coming back! Enjoy November!!
I will, enjoy your two term president.
BObo = Carter

Be interesting to see.
And heeeeeeeere come the excuses.
